Portfolio Manager – Capital Markets

PKIC is looking to hire Portfolio Manager – Capital Markets
This incumbent will be responsible to facilitate capital market transactions through buying and selling equities and developing the stock portfolio at PKIC; Conduct stock identification after thorough evaluation of market options; Analyze macroeconomic and market trends influencing stock performance; Forecast estimated capital gains and dividend earnings for stock options prior to executing transactions; Adopt real time response to market news to capitalize on opportunities; Evaluate performance of stock holdings and employed brokerages and prepares performance reporting; Prepare annual plans for optimizing stock portfolio growth and mitigating risks pertaining to market volatility; Participate in budget formulation for capital market activities.

Location: Karachi

Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience (at least 3 years in Equity Brokerages). 

Qualification: ACCA, MBA: Graduate/Post Graduate (preferably in Finance)

Senior Associate – Financial Reporting & Budgeting

PKIC is looking to hire Senior Associate – Financial Reporting & Budgeting for its Finance department. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for carrying out regulatory, management reporting and budgeting of the company; strong background of working on reporting & regulatory environment of the financial industry; extraction, compilation, rationalization and reconciliation of various reports and datasets, Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders for reporting and compilation of budgets; strong analytical skills with ability to conduct variance analysis of numbers and reports; Co-ordinate with IT function for MIS automation, proficient with MS Excel and handling of large datasets, ability to work independently within a high energy, high profile team; keen attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness, amongst other duties.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and budgeting.

Qualification: ACCA, MBA: Preference would be given to candidates with additional certifications/experience in MIS automation and system implementation.

Manager Islamic Pool & Reporting

PKIC is looking to hire Manager Islamic Pool & Reporting.

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for carrying out Pool Management Operations in compliance with the regulatory requirements and Shariah Rulings ; Compilation, dissemination of weightages of different pools on periodic basis ; Assess financial feasibility for declaration of expected rates based on return on assets; reconciliation of pool balances with respective general Ledgers ; reporting of pool related operations to the management; Performing GAP analysis with industry best practices for the improvement in pool system; analyze Islamic Industry profit trend with PKIC-IFD ; process accurate accounting entries related to Islamic Operations in GL; Prepare Islamic banking related disclosures as required by SBP in financial statements, Maintain Islamic books of accounts accurately, Ensuring internal controls, procedures and policies are in compliance with the latest statutory requirements, amongst other duties.

Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience.

Associate Investment Banking

PKIC is looking to hire Associate Investment Banking.

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities and managing investment portfolio of PKIC; Analyzing various investment options by determining their suitability to create a balanced investment portfolio; Coordinating with relevant stakeholder for execution of investment transactions by conducting due-diligence, preparing investment proposals and completing approval processes; Delivering financial consultancy services to clients through assessing financing needs and raising capital to facilitate business growth and restructuring plans etc.; Providing input in development of annual business plan and investment/services budget draft; Providing performance reporting to various stakeholders in order to facilitate informed decision-making; Engaging with Regulatory Authorities to acquire licenses and manages legal issues related to different transactions; amongst other duties.
